(Florida,
USA) You're looking out an office window
at the canal
which runs
behind the RFB offices
and grounds. If we were to turn this camera
around, you'd see RFB staff
busily toiling at their tasks. But we won't.
On
occasion you may see an alligator, bear,
deer, locust,
frog, snake
or other Biblical plague. Dogs have been
known to wander into view, as have strange
prehistoric birds, directionless interns,
assorted maintenance personnel and uninvited
members
of
the press.
At night you won't see anything, and so
we leave the last shot from the previous
day in place until morning. Camera hours
are 7AM to 7PM, Eastern Time.
The Grounds
Maintenance Foreman maintains
this camera - and poorly. We expect him
to either furnish a better camera or abandon
this silly effort. Through the miracle
of modern science (Velcro® and duct
tape)
he finally made it stay in place. He might
try cleaning
the window now.
Images are reloaded 60 times per hour.
(Yes,
every
one minute.) We recommend that Northerners,
Yankees, Europeans, Aussies and Saudis bookmark
this page, so you can see what
you're missing in sunny Central Florida, America's
Backyard.
