Radio Free Babylon™:
The
National Aeronautics and Space Administration must
regretfully decline your request for a tour of the
Space Station.
While
we appreciate your concern as a citizen that perhaps
your tax dollars are being wasted, you can rest assured
that we are hard at work onboard the space station
with science stuff that may someday prove beneficial
to someone somewhere. And not only that, it is so
fun to be up there. If we started granting tours
to everyone, then the whole thrill and competitive
nature of the astronaut program would be worthless.
This stuff costs big bucks and we can’t just
give it away to everyone who asks.
As you are in the Central Florida region, you may want to visit the Kennedy
Space Center during normal visiting hours.
