RFB
Unveils CanalCam™
See CanalCam™
(FLORIDA,
USA.) Radio Free Babylon™, the multimedia corporation
with home offices in Florida, has announced that
they've set up the useless yet obligatory webcam
on their site so that visitors to www.radiofreebabylon.com can
be amused by nice weather and static shots of stagnant
water.
“This
is the future of the Internet!” said a company
spokesperson, five years too late.
RFB continues to add and subtract stuff from their
website, based on poor research and "whatever some malcontent might complain about," said the spokesperson. "We
even have a 'search the site' thing buried way deep within the site somewhere,
and we may bring it forward sometime soon."
The company continues to branch off into areas they are unfamiliar with such
as foreign policy, religion, music, publishing and news.
"People
say it's good to excel at one thing," said the
spokesperson, "but we like to be mediocre at
lots of things, like this new webcam for instance.
I'll bet we NEVER clean the lens and totally neglect
it after a couple of days."
The webcam shows the view from the back of the RFB offices in Florida, where
a canal runs behind the building. Strange prehistoric birds and monstrous reptiles
can be seen on occasion, when it isn't raining. On Saturdays, you might find
the caretakers maintaining the lawn. Then again, you probably won't.
