FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RFB
Site Back Online
(FLORIDA,
USA.) Radio Free Babylon™, the multimedia corporation
with home offices in Florida, has announced that
their long awaited website is up and running at www.radiofreebabylon.com.
“Man,
finally!” said a company spokesperson.
RFB’s original site, a crude and lame Front Page creation, was hated
from the moment it went up. Described as “very, very 90s” by industry
insiders, the site was pulled in November.
“We
don’t want to blame Microsoft for their stupid
program, and it wasn’t that inferior and worthless
software that made our site so ugly before. We just
took that bundled piece of garbage and threw something
together with it and then got carried away with how
crazy we could make our rollovers and buttons,” said
the spokesperson, "but we know it was not the
fault of the weak and lame Front Page software."
The
new look is described as simple and clean, features
made possible by RFB’s recent acquisition of
some very powerful and expensive software. Radio Free Babylon™ says they stole the whole look of the
design from the makers of that little people-mover-scooter-thing,
you know, Segway. Check 'em out at www.segway.com.

Design
isn't the only thing RFB has been "borrowing." The
new software that provided the new look is from a
questionable source.
“We
got that software from a friend of a guy who one
of our employees did some work with. We’re
pretty sure it’s OK to use, but just in case
we aren’t totally compliant with the manufacturer,
we are definitely not registering it online with
them,” said the spokesperson.
In addition to the new look, Radio Free Babylon™’s content has changed
considerably. Whereas earlier incarnations of radiofreebabylon.com were considered
by some to border on militant and offensive, the new site strives for a “less
militant, less offensive feel. Kinder, gentler, thousand points of light and
all that.”
“We’re
doing that humor thing,” said the spokesperson, “and
of course there is truth in all humor. It’s
tongue in cheek, not in your face. I don’t
mean that it used to be tongue in your face, don’t
get me wrong, but the site has definitely become
more of a friendly and fun place on the web. I would
describe it as patriotic satire.”
Featuring
news, commentary, and “enough fun to crash
our server weekly” www.radiofreebabylon.com
is now open for business and seeking visitors.
