After
he left the White House, Millard Fillmore did all kinds of “searching
for himself,” including becoming the Know Nothing Party’s
candidate for President in 1856. He lived a full life beyond his
years
in office and tried all manner of ways to remain in the spotlight, including
adding an umlaut to his last name and touring with a band that called
themselves "Millyrd Fillmöre." Road life proved too tough
for the aging politician and he resigned himself to a life of opposing
President
Lincoln
from his home in Buffalo, New York.
Millyrd
Fillmöre’s self-titled debut album was never released,
but RadioFreeBabylon has obtained the rights to the music and will be developing this CD under
the Comatose Llama record label. Featuring
classics like “Compromise,” “Finger Lakes,” “Zack
Taylor is Dead,” “I am the Thirteenth,” and others,
Millyrd Fillmöre’s rocking instincts stand the test
of the centuries.

Do You Feel Like We Do?
After an extended talkbox solo that had soldiers
in this desert camp gasping,
George HW Bush tosses guitar picks to
fans.
In
addition to Millyrd Fillmöre, we have our eye on some promising unsigned
artists in both the Midwest and the Southeast. We’re always on
the lookout for up-and-coming talent and might just approach your group
or
act at some Open
Mic somewhere sometime.
In
other words, we have our hands full and are not accepting demos at this
time. But keep asking. You never know.
